Tyler Cassells riding Mr Ian Black’s Ricky Ramiro was our individual Open Dressage entry. They were 1st in the Arena by a margin of 13 points, but unfortunately, when all the arenas were averaged out, missed out on the overall championship by just 0.05 of a mark!
Nicky Toomer had qualified in the Novice Dressage, but was unable to go as “April” had knocked herself a few days previously.

Massive congratulations to Libby Richards and Tyler Cassells who both had great success at the championships at Lincoln. Libby and Hollymount Princess jumped a magnificent triple clear to achieve an individual 7th placing in the novice show jumping and Tyler continued his dressage success with a win on Ricky Ramiro in the senior open dressage.
The FOTH qualifier for 2014 takes place THIS OCTOBER – Sunday 27th October 2013 to be precise – at Berriewood, Condover.Unfortunately this is the date of our Wendy Ashton Memorial Combined Training competitions at Somerford – but if any member would like to enter the FOTH (show jumps followed by cross country jumps, 90cms, 100 cms and Pairs) (or hear more detailed info re the competition) please contact Libby (chef d’equipe) on 01477 532916 or erichards@binternet.com.
Entries (Prelim and Area) have to be in by 3rd October, so please express interest sooner rather than later! If you’ve not already completed the Team Application Form and/or your details have changed recently, please fill it in too.
