ECCTG has got a growing endurance team and would like to grow it even further! The team qualified for the national championships in 2012 (read the full report in our results section) and are looking to recreate this success for 2013. There are plenty of 20 mile qualifying rides within reasonable distance eg. near Burton – on – Trent in June, Wirral in July, Lancs in August & Delamere Forest in Sept before the final on October 6th at Builth Wells. If we have a squad of 5 or 6 then every rider need not compete at every qualifier if they prefer not to. Membership costs £40 a year and has a host of benefits. Contact Alison for more info. Competitions are open to non-members at an increased rate. Non-members must abide by club rules and have their own public liability insurance as they will not be covered by the club’s insurance.
