Area 20 Dressage to Music Qualifier, 19th August, Reaseheath

Our sole representative at the Area Dressage to Music competition at Reaseheath on Sunday was Jan Yates with The Toft Bard in the Elementary section. They won with a very good artistic mark, so Jan hopes to go to the Championship in October at Aintree.

Congratulations to the pair!

Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming opportunities, including a feed and biomechanics talk on Wednesday September 26th.

If anyone is interested in another lesson with Alan Fazakerley please let Libby know; we need to have at least 9 riders wanting lessons in order to make a booking.

 

**Reminder – Collecting Ring Etiquette**

Please take note of the points below whilst riding in collecting rings at ECCTG events. Please remember that collecting rings are used by a number of people at any one time, therefore safe and courteous riding is a must. ECCTG will not accept abuse of any kind, whether to horses or people.

*Pass left hand to left hand in collecting ring or school

*Do not block walk ways or entrances

*Slower paces should use inside track

*Do not hog or ride in front of practice fences

*Jump fences with red flag on right white on the left

*Do not shout or swear

*Be patient and ready on time

**Important Message to Members**

Please can all competitors who wish to enter events/training please respect the organisers when entering! Please do not call/text/email after 9pm or before 9am. The organisers give up their time to run these events. so your cooperation would be appreciated.

Due to a number of people entering competitions and withdrawing at the last minute but not paying their entry fee, we have instated a policy on withdrawals. For dressage competitions, withdrawals must be made by the Wednesday prior or the full entry fee will be due.
