Well done to all those who braved the weather at Aston Le Walls last weekend and particularly well done to Hannah Leech and Welton Chillipepper who won their section at the National Horse Trials Championships!

We are thrilled to have been able to successfully hold our Championships when so many other events have sadly been cancelled this season. Even the heavy rain showers did not dampen the Riding Club’s spirit, and we have already received some lovely feedback from our members who thoroughly enjoyed the weekend with us, and I hope your Club had a great time too. The Olympic Eventing at Greenwich was very exciting (and enjoyed by many of our members in the beautiful park itself) but we all know the really important competition is the National Horse Trials Championships at Aston-Le-Walls this weekend! Sadly, the event has had to change to short format due to the weather but we’re sure it will be a fantastic weekend nonetheless. Good luck to all of our members (Jo Glover (twice!), Hannah Mulliner, Hannah Leech, Amy Lennon, and Nicki Toomer) who are competing.
