Arena Eventing / Combined Challenge

Contact: New Chef d’Equipe to be confirmed

The arena eventing competition is for teams and individuals and consists of a course of show jumps immediately followed by a course of cross-country fences. The round will finish with the last fence as a show jump – a ‘joker’ fence, which will be set at a discretionary 10cm higher than the rest of the course.

At the combined championships there is both a combined training competition (at 75cm and 85cm) and a combined challenge; an excellent test of the ability and timing of a horse and rider to negotiate a show jumping course followed by a cross-county course on grass, in an arena. This runs at 70cm-100cm.
