Indoor Novice Show Jumping Qualifier

Our wonderful showjumpers have once more put in 1st class performances at the recent indoor qualifier – a strong competition with 24 teams in all.
We sent 2 teams and both went really well. The Red Team of Sally Filby, Juliet Foden, Sally Vickers and Nicky Toomer (with Dave) had the odd fence down which put them just outside the rosettes, although Nicki’s double clear put her 6th individually – well done!
The Blue Team of Nicki (this time on Thomas), Libby Richards, Nicky Phillips and Sue O’Leary, finished on zero and contested a 4 way jump off. It was very close but with all four going clear again they won by just over a second to qualify for the Championships at Hartpury.
Yet more evidence of just how much fun team show jumping can be and we want more of you to join us!!!!!!

AGM tickets now on sale

The 2013/14 AGM and Presentation Evening will take place on Friday January 31st at Smallwood Primary School. Tickets will cost £8, to include supper and are available now from Alison Unwin or any committee member.

Rosette Recycling!

New for 2014 – Rosette Recycling!

We are going to introduce a new scheme in 2014 for all our regular competitions, whereby competitors who win a rosette and would like to recycle it can place it in a box on the day, to be re-used at the next competition. For every rosette recycled, 50p will be donated to the North West Air Ambulance. (We will review which charity we donate to each year).

Please note this will not apply to the Indoor Eventing as the rosettes there are unique to that competition.

New Pam Rigby Training Dates

Two further training dates with Pam Rigby – of New Barn Farm, Ollerton – have been arranged for January 23rd and February 27th. £18 each for a 1 hour session in a group of 3. Contact Jenny Benoy for further details.
